Personally I don’t care if we’re naughty or nice. I do care if we’re loving and open to love. That’s the true message of this holiday — a reminder for us to embrace the humanity in one another.  As we convey our greetings of the season, let’s reach out with love.

It’s the holiday time of year when stories of miracles abound in every tradition. What if the wish we’ve been cherishing, the change we’ve been inviting is coming true right now? What if the next miracle is ours?

A visit to the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum in Santa Fe has me reeling. O’Keeffe is recognized as the Mother of American Modernism and I was eager to view her artwork up close. I expected her paintings to be inspiring. I was not disappointed. The surprise was that her words and philosophy of living are equally inspiring.

We’ve all heard about the importance of dreaming and that it happens during REM (Rapid Eye Movement) sleep. I must admit that reading about sleep studies makes me doze off, but one new report woke me up.  It seems that dreaming, the work of REM sleep, creates what differentiates our brains from computers.
